Dr Joanna Andreia Quintal is the Clinical Director of JAQ Dental Clinic and the guiding force behind the vision, values and philosophy that shape our entire practice. Holding a Master’s degree in Periodontology, she early recognised that the health of the supporting tissues is the foundation for any predictable and long-lasting oral rehabilitation. She complements her academic background with postgraduate training in Advanced Biomimetic Oral Rehabilitation and ongoing education in Implantology, managing complex cases with scientific rigour, technical precision and a deep understanding of oral biology.

Her approach is strongly human-centred: every treatment plan begins with attentive listening, proximity and a genuine commitment to each person’s needs. For Dr Joanna, clinical excellence requires constant evolution — in knowledge, technology and perspective — ensuring more complete diagnoses, more personalised treatments and truly transformative outcomes.
